The staff was very approachable and wonderful, as for 3-stars hotel. The location was marvellous and wonderful - near a cliff with a wonderful sea view, the bus stop, and the coast of the sea.

The location was peaceful there, particularly in the self serving area. I loved the room, the bed was comfortable.

It was so nice to wake up to such a beautiful sight every morning. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms with sea-view were spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was also delicious, with fresh ingredients and a great variety of options.

We absolutely loved our stay at Gardenvilla Shirahama in Shimoda. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to come back when we're in the area again. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The convenient free parking was a great bonus. It only took us a short 10-minute walk to reach the nearby bus stop. However, the highlight of our stay was definitely the breathtaking ocean view from the property.

They were incredibly friendly, spoke excellent English, and offered us rides to various destinations. Lastly, the breakfast served at this hotel was simply mouth-watering. With a combination of traditional Japanese dishes and fluffy pancakes, it was a delightful culinary experience.

The daughter of the hotel owners kindly picked me up from the station and offered to drive me around during my stay. The hotel itself had a stunning view, comfortable bed, and a beautiful outdoor bath overlooking the sea. The highlight of my stay was the delicious food, prepared with local ingredients and served in multiple courses. The hotel also had a great location, just a short walk from the beach. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and memorable experience.
